These ministries give attention to local, national, and world ministries of compassion, justice, and advocacy.

LIBERIA
Our church family has partnered with the village of Saclepea in Liberia to build a church building, and a school building. Currently both buildings are completed and in use. The next partnership project we are entering into will involve the construction of a youth center in Ganta. The youth population in Ganta is large, the needs are many, and the opportunity to make a difference is ripe. Our gifts combined with the Liberians” initiative are able to do incredible good.

MISSION POSSIBLE
This is a ministry team made up of small groups who do mission work in Morton, Peoria, and short work trips in Illinois. Several of these groups have partnered with Loaves & Fish, Peoria Rescue Mission, Children’s Home, Habitat for Humanity, We Care families, retirement homes, nursing homes and others.

FOOD COLLECTION
Our church family provides the means and publicity of the collection of food for WE CARE food pantry and the weekly food pantry at Trinity Mennonite Church. Both pantries are located in Morton and serve people in nearby communities.

COVENANT MISSIONARY
We give our prayer and financial support to the over-seas mission work of Connie Wieck, a Methodist missionary to China.

CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE
During this event, individuals and families take name tags from the Christmas tree in order to bring joy in the Lord and gifts for children and adults through local agencies.

BLOOD DRIVE
This is held in cooperation with the Red Cross on a yearly basis.

CROP WALK
Each year, anyone from our church family can join with other area churches to support the work of Church World Service around the world.
