POSITION AVAILABLE:  Minister of Youth

We are looking for a positive individual of great integrity who desires to use their gifts to serve Christ and others. This person will be responsible to perform ministry activities primarily with the junior high and senior high youth of the church while working in a team environment.  Working hours for this full-time position will be flexible and will require some evening and weekend commitment. A background check will be required.

Requirements and goals include the following:
• Demonstrates a relationship with Christ
• Develop and lead young people (grade 7-12) into personal relationship with Christ and disciple them to be lifelong followers of Christ
• Works with families in the development of their child’s spiritual life
• Equip laity to be significant leaders within the youth ministry structure
• Demonstrate experience with volunteers and the ability to recruit equip and enable volunteers
• Strong communication and relational skills
• Administrative and organizational skills
• College degree is required
• Experience in leading a youth ministry is prefer
